Bathymetric Attributed Grid is a file format designed to store and exchange bathymetric data.

The implementation of the format was caused by the greater adoption of grid bathymetry and need to transfer the necessary information on bathymetry and uncertainty, i.e. metadata between processing applications. The bag format was developed to provide a container capable of transmitting all the necessary information about the bathymetry of the project.
