ⓘ Cherry Creek Range

The Cherry Creek Range is a line of mountains, Basin and Range faulted, in northern White Pine and southern Elko Counties, in northeastern Nevada in the western United States. The range runs generally north-south for approximately 50 miles. The highest point in the range is an unnamed peak, located just south of the border between the counties.

In the West valley and mountains, beat-beat, in the East Valley Steptoe, range, shell Creek, highway 93 and the old mining town of cherry Creek. On the North, spruce mountain, adjacent to the South-West of mount Pequop, Goshute Valley lies East of the Pequops but turns South-West to North-East the foothills of the range cherry Creek, the location of the Curry. South of the range cherry Creek range and Egan Canyon, the route of the Pony Express in this part of the Great Basin. In the center of the circle is deeply cut Goshute basin – location of the Goshute Canyon wilderness study.
