Canadian Indigenous Nurses Association

The Canadian Indigenous Nurses Association is a non-governmental, non-profit organization. It is an affiliate group of the Canadian Nurses Association. The CINA is the only professional nursing organization for Indigenous peoples in Canada and was formerly known as the Aboriginal Nurses Association of Canada. Ann Thomas Callahan, a Cree Canadian nurse, was involved in its creation, and the association presented her with a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2014.

Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses

The Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses is the only professional association for medical-surgical nurses in the United States. Its stated mission is "to promote excellence in medical-surgical nursing". AMSN was founded in 1991 and has chapters in all 50 states in the US.

American Academy of Nursing

American Museum of Nursing

The American Museum of Nursing was part of Arizona State University College of Nursing. It was located in Tempe, Arizona, United States. It featured exhibits of uniforms, posters, medical care items, photographs and other nursing memorabilia, a research library, rare document room, and an archive. The collections are now part of the International Nursing Museum in Scottsdale, Arizona, which is seeking a permanent location.

American Red Cross Nursing Service

The American Red Cross Nursing Service was organized in 1909 by Jane Arminda Delano. A nurse and member of the American Red Cross, Delano organized the nursing service as the reserve of the Army Nurse Corps to be ready just before the entry of the United States into World War I. Key wartime decisions were made by Delano along with Mary Adelaide Nutting, president of the American Federation of Nurses, and Annie Warburton Goodrich, dean of the Army School of Nursing.
