Valerie Hoffman (academic)

Valerie Hoffman is Professor and Head of the Department of Religion at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and specialises in Islamic thought and practice. She received her BA in Anthropology from the University of Pennsylvania and her MA and PhD in Near Eastern Languages and Civilisations from the University of Chicago.
